Dr. K. M. Shah (President)
Dr. K. M. Shah has brillient academic career, with B. Sc. (Hons) First Class, and B. Sc. (Tech.) First Class in technology of Intermediates and Dyestuffs, from the Department of Chemical Technology, bombay University. He earned his Ph.D. (Tech) degree in Technology of Intermediate and Dyes in 1965 from U.D.C.T., Bombay. He was also awarded research fellowship for technology from C.S.I.R., U.G.C. and has Published many research Publications and technical papers Including books on �Studies in Heterocyclic Compounds� (1978), and Handbook of Synthetic Dyes and Pigments - 3 Volumes (1998).
During his brilliant career, he gathered rich industrial experience in the field of Dyes, Pigments, Paints, Chemicals etc. Currently he is president of a Technical consultancy organisation and also heads a company engagaed in the manufacture of speciality chemicals. Dr. Shah is on I.D.B.I. panel for chemical projects. He is also examiner for Ph.D., in organic chemistry and Chemical Engineering for Bombay University. Dr. Shah was awarded �Udyog Patra� award for seifmade Industrialist in 1989 and �Udyag Rattan� award for outstanding Economic development in 1991.
